There are times where working out is compromised just because my laziness kicks in. I would use my busy schedule as a #WAHM (Work at Home Mom) as an excuse not to exercise. Lately I found a way to combat that — work on my workout clothes! It helps me to remember to take a break and sweat and of course not to put the outfit to waste!
Losing weight is a struggle, like SERIOUSLY! For a woman like me who have bore 2 kids and who’ve aged (a bit), my metabolism is no longer as fast. You can jut imagine all the frustration and disappointment everytime I step onto that weighing scale and see no progress – it’s either my weighing scale is broken (yeah right!) or I am gaining more muscles because I am mostly doing HIIT and strength routines (this I’d like to believe and comfort myself with! LOL!). Either way, I know I am doing my body a favor by pressing on. So, since “losing weight” is a huge challenge, I look at my working out not mainly as to lose weight but to ensure that I release toxins everyday through sweating. That way, there’s not much room for frustrations when the weighing scale decides to be rude to me. So to all moms out there, no matter how busy you are, find time for yourself – at least 30 minutes, you can do it!
